Now that the digital switch-over has taken place there could be an increase in the number of “cowboy companies” offering cheap aerials and using inferior equipment. The quality of the aerial and satellite equipment is very important especially the cable which should be C.A.I. approved cables (double screened). Cheaper cable is susceptible to interference from a variety of sources such as central heating thermostats, Mobile phones, Motor vehicle spark plugs and even modern street lights.

Using inferior equipment can cost you more in the long run.

We must have an up to date Criminal Records (CRB) check, Employers liability or the public/tradesman’s liability £5m, and Certification proving that a Safe Working at Height with Ladders course has been completed.
