Warning about Rogue Traders
Beware of companies "offering cheap aerials and using inferior equipment. The quality of the aerial and satellite equipment is very important especially the cable which should be C.A.I. approved cables (double screened). Cheaper cable is susceptible to interference from a variety of sources such as central heating thermostats, Mobile phones, Motor vehicle spark plugs and even modern street lights.
Using inferior equipment can cost you more in the long run.
East Coast Aerials Ltd are members of the CAI Plus scheme, All our equipment must conform to CAI standards and our work is regularly checked by the CAI to ensure that we meet their standards.
About the CAI
The CAI is the recognised body for the aerial and satellite industry. The CAI is committed to raising Standards within the industry and the criteria for membership is extremely high.
We must have an up to date Criminal Records (CRB) check, Employers liability or the public/tradesman's liability £5m, and Certification proving that a Safe Working at Height with Ladders course has been completed.
